Sports Marketing

The Sports Marketing department is responsible for attracting, creating and promoting sporting events throughout the NYC’s five boroughs. They facilitate the production of a diverse lineup of high-profile professional and amateur events that excite area sports fans, generate revenue for the region and garner positive exposure for New York City.

Working with NYC & Company's marketing and in-house creative teams, the Sports Marketing department creates customized marketing strategies and activation events that deliver efficient results and resounding impact for events and event sponsors in New York City. They coordinate on permitting and safety and security plans with the appropriate city, state and federal agencies. They are also able to provide unparalleled access to New York City's top venues—whether traditional, nontraditional, public or private. The Sports Marketing department has everything that event organizers and sponsors need to showcase their event on the world's biggest stage: New York City.
