Longtime friends Raja Jhanjee and Vicky Vij worked together at Bukhara restaurant in New Delhi and dreamed of one day owning their own restaurant. That dream became a reality in their partnership with master chef Bachan Rawat in 1999, bringing the flavors of India's Northwest frontier to New York City. Along with cuisine drenched in flavorful Indian spices, from succulent kababs to tandoori dishes, Bukhara Grill provides a unique atmosphere including stoneware and utensils imported from India, wooden wine bottles and a cascading waterfall. The passionate team of servers wears traditional garb of the Pathan people of Punjab.
