The Goethe-Institut provides programs and education about German culture, language, society and politics. As part of the network of many other Goethe-Instituts in the U.S. and worldwide, the Goethe-Institut New York offers a glimpse into German life with films and festivals, as well as other multicultural events that connect the German experience with a variety of other cultures worldwide. Three locations offer different programming: 72 Spring St. offers library and exhibitions; Wyoming House at 5 E. 3rd St. offers music, lectures and other events; Ludlow 38 gallery at 38 Ludlow St. presents contemporary art exhibitions.
