Day or night, celebrate the intimate and spectacular beauty of the Statue of Liberty and Manhattan skyline from the decks of a magnificent 82-foot vintage 1920s schooner. Built as the personal yacht of Charles E. Dunlap, a prominent New York City industrialist, Shearwater boasts Rangoon teak decks and mahogany-paneled staterooms below—sure to impress even seasoned yachtsmen. Enjoy the casual elegance of a refreshing beverage served by the attentive crew as the ship glides comfortably through world-famous New York Harbor. Depending on the winds and tides, the captain may also sail up the Buttermilk Channel or to the Verrazano Bridge. Shearwater offers 90-minute to two-hour public sails and can also be booked for private parties.
