Uncle Jack's Steakhouse opened in Queens in 1999 and quickly established itself as the go-to restaurant for a classic steak dinner. It has since expanded to two more locations, both in Midtown Manhattan, and still handcrafts traditional steak sauce from a recipe handed down to owner William Jack Degel, godson of the restaurant namesake. At Uncle Jack’s, beef is like a fine wine; the Kobe beef is hand-massaged with sake and aged for 21 days—like all of their steaks—before being brought to your table.
