The National Black Theatre produces transformational and dialogue-generative theatre that successfully shifts inaccuracies around African Americans' cultural identity by telling authentic, intersectional stories of Black life. While their long-time Harlem home is being transformed into a 21st-century destination for Black culture, with a 250-seat flexible temple space and a 99-seat studio theater, NBT presents their Black arts programming at various City venues.
