The Frick Collection

The Frick Collection is a museum in a historic mansion located between Midtown and Museum Mile on the Upper East Side. Considered a top cultural attraction, it is home to European paintings, sculpture and decorative arts from the Renaissance through 19th-century by artists including Vermeer, Rembrandt, Gainsborough, Goya, Renoir and Whistler. The Frick also features special exhibitions. Visitors to this atmospheric and contemplative museum enjoy a free audioguide in six languages. Note: children under 10 are not admitted.
