New York City (August 31, 2011)—NYC & Company, New York City’s official marketing, tourism and partnership organization, today announced two-for-one tickets in the fall during Broadway Week. Tickets go on sale September 5 for Broadway performances from September 18 to 30. Broadway Week was created to boost ticket sales during traditionally slow periods such as the end of summer and provide unprecedented theater savings for New Yorkers and visitors alike.

“Broadway theaters and performances are important cornerstones of New York City’s arts and entertainment scene,” said George Fertitta, CEO of NYC & Company. “With two-for-one tickets to some of the City’s most popular shows there is no better time to experience New York City theater and take advantage of the robust Broadway savings.”

Broadway Week is produced by NYC & Company in partnership with The Broadway League, AARP, Amtrak, NBC and The New York Times. This is the second Broadway Week promotion returning after a successful campaign in January.
