NYC & Company CEO George Fertitta to Ring The Closing Bell® at the NYSE

Who/What:        On Monday, July 11, NYC & Company (New York City’s tourism, marketing and partnership organization), members of the NYC & Company Restaurant Committee and participants from of the City’s first NYC Restaurant Week in 1992  will visit the New York Stock Exchange to kick off the 20th year of NYC Restaurant Week, which runs from July 11 through July 24.   To mark the occasion, NYC & Company CEO George Fertitta, will ring the NYSE Closing Bell. About NYC Restaurant Week: NYC Restaurant Week began in 1992 as a one-time program to welcome the National Democratic Convention to town. Since then, the City’s largest gastronomic event has grown from 95 restaurants to more than 320, and has developed to include exclusive dining benefits, sweepstakes, consumer events and products.   NYC Restaurant Week Summer 2011—the City’s original culinary celebration and world’s first Restaurant Week—will feature more than 320 restaurants.
