New York City (July 21, 2014) — NYC & Company, New York City’s official marketing, tourism and partnership organization, announced that NYC Restaurant Week Summer 2014 starts today, July 21. The event offers New Yorkers and visitors four weeksof dining deals at more than 300 top New York City restaurants from July 21 through August 15, Mondays through Fridays, with Saturdays excluded and Sundays optional. Diners can enjoy three-course prix-fixe lunches for $25 and three-course prix-fixe dinners for $38 (excluding beverages, gratuities and taxes). For reservations, visit nycgo.com/restaurantweek.
NYC Restaurant Week Summer 2014 features an expanded photo contest on Instagram, where diners are encouraged to photograph their dining experience, based on different themes each week. The themes include appetizer, entrée, dessert and group shot/selfie. Each of the four judges—Jean-Georges Vongerichten of Jean-Georges Restaurants, Michael White of Altamarea Group, NYC food photographer Daniel Krieger and Todd Coleman of Tasting Table—will choose one winning photo in each category per week for four weeks during NYC Restaurant Week. The sixteen winners will receive gift cards worth $250 or more from participating restaurants. All posts should be submitted using #nycrestaurantweek.
