New York City (February 13, 2015) — NYC & Company, New York City’s official marketing, tourism and partnership organization, announced that NYC Restaurant Week Winter 2015 begins this Monday, February 16, and goes through Friday, March 6. The event offers three-course prix-fixe lunches for $25 and three-course pre-fixe dinners for $38 (excluding beverages, gratuities and taxes) Mondays through Fridays, with Saturdays excluded and Sundays optional, at 340 of the best New York City restaurants. New Yorkers and visitors can enter the #NYCRestaurantWeek photo contest on Instagram for a chance to win $300 or more in gift cards. Menus, photos, videos and reservations are available online at

“From the popular photo contest to new video content, we’re inspiring New Yorkers and visitors to share their NYC Restaurant Week experiences with friends, families and followers—ultimately encouraging even more people to experience the best dining deals of the year in the world’s most exciting city,” said Fred Dixon, president and CEO of NYC & Company. “NYC Restaurant Week is a signature New York City event that continues to attract foodies and new audiences to dine at classic NYC restaurants or the newest hot spots.”  

Diners who snap a photo of their NYC Restaurant Week experience—whether it’s a shot of the meal, a selfie or a group photo—and post the picture with #NYCRestaurantWeek on Instagram will be prompted by @nycrestaurantweek to submit an entry form. Official judges will choose three winning photos every week for three weeks during NYC Restaurant Week, and winners will receive $300 or more in gift cards from participating restaurants.

Exclusive behind-the-scenes video content will be shared on NYC & Company’s and NYC Restaurant Week’s YouTube, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram channels. The videos feature chef interviews and footage of signature dishes and items from NYC Restaurant Week menus from 5 of the 55 new participating restaurants: Bar Primi, Beautique, Blenheim, Fung Tu and Tavern on the Green.

NYC Restaurant Week is promoted through exclusive content on; out-of-home media in the five boroughs; print and digital advertising; commercials running in NYC taxicabs and on the Toshiba screen in Times Square; and through social media posts using #NYCRestaurantWeek. This year, NYC Restaurant Week’s creative materials highlight photos of new participating restaurants taken by amateur photographers discovered through Instagram, including @martinecooks, @noleftovers_ and @fattycawatty.
