To mark Cyber Monday—the unofficial kickoff to the online holiday shopping season—nycshop.com is offering 50% off regular prices on all signature NYC items from 9am to 4pm. Following retail stores’ Black Friday sales, nycshop.com joins other online merchants who offer limited deals to attract Internet shoppers on Cyber Monday.
“The official online shop of New York City offers licensed products recognized by patrons from around the globe,” said George Fertitta, NYC & Company CEO. “It’s a one-stop site for affordable signature holiday gifts for friends, family, kids and more. Whether you’re in another borough or in another time zone, you can purchase licensed merchandise from the City of New York from the convenience of your computer.”
Merchandise includes men’s, women’s and kids’ T-shirts, sweatshirts and hats as well as replica toy vehicles and play sets. Iconic City agencies such as the NYPD, FDNY, Department of Sanitation and the Taxi & Limousine Commission are featured on many keepsakes, which also include souvenir mugs, key chains, magnets and plush toys.
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of licensed City merchandise benefits the City of New York and is used toward programs that further support, protect and promote the five boroughs and City agencies.
