New York City (November 4, 2010) — NYC & Company, the City’s official marketing, tourism and partnership organization, today launched special offers at close to 100 hotels throughout the City to highlight extraordinary value for visitors traveling in January and February. The deals—which include up to 25 percent off room rates or value-added offers—will give visitors more reason to book now for travel in early 2011. Hotels in various city neighborhoods are participating in this special winter promotion, which runs from January 2 to February 28. Travelers to the Upper East Side, for instance, can stay one or more evenings at the famed Hôtel Plaza Athénée and enjoy a 20 percent discount off the best available rate, or stay two nights and get a complimentary third night free at The Carlyle, A Rosewood Hotel. In Midtown, the Renaissance New York Hotel 57 and the Renaissance New York Hotel Times Square are offering travelers special winter packages, including complimentary breakfast and two-for-one NYC Explorer passes providing access to leading NYC attractions. In SoHo, The James New York is offering 20 percent off the best available rate when staying two or more nights. The four W Hotels of New York (W New York, W New York – Downtown, W New York – Times Square, and W New York – Union Square) will offer visitors a winter getaway "W Play Experience" package, which includes two cocktails, complimentary daily parking and accommodations at the best available rate in a "Wonderful Room" (Sunday arrivals offer additional savings).
Hotels throughout all the five boroughs are participating in the promotion. NU Hotel in Brooklyn, for example, is offering 10 percent off one-night stays, 15 percent off two-night stays and 20 percent off three-night stays—giving visitors a reason to stay even longer. In Queens, the Comfort Inn Flushing is offering 20 percent off the best available rate when staying two or more nights, plus complimentary continental breakfast and free wireless Internet access.
