The Architectural Digest Home Design Show is open to the public from March 18 – 20 at Pier 94 on Manhattan’s West Side, with a special preview for trade members only on March 17. The show is produced by MMPI and is co-sponsored by The New York Times.

“New York City is a hub of creativity and design for the United States and we are pleased that the Architectural Digest Home Design Show is celebrating 10 years here,” said George Fertitta, CEO of NYC & Company. “There is no other place in the world that offers both the resources to accommodate 30,000 visitors and the opportunities to experience different textiles, designs and trends from across the world in one spot. We are proud that New York is a leader in this industry and we look forward to a long relationship with the Architectural Digest Home Design Show.”

For the first time, the Architectural Digest Home Design Show will host The Artist Project New York, co-located at Pier 92. “The Architectural Digest Home Design Show is an incredible collaboration between designers, manufacturers and industry experts,” said Jennifer Woolford, senior vice president, MMPI. “The Show offers attendees a preview of the next big trends in home design through educational seminars and exhibits. By bringing together creativity, talent and interest, we are able to create magnificent energy in design and art.”

The Show offers access to design luminaries throughout several special sections including: DIFFA’s Dining by Design NY, which combines design and culinary giants for amazing creations; Architectural Digest Designers Consultations, which offers free 20-minute consults with the principals of New York’s top design firms; MADE, a showcase of original art, furniture, lighting and more available for purchase; The Modern Home, which highlights the best in furnishings, flooring, cabinetry and kitchens in a model apartment space; Shop the Show with a Professional, a tour of the show floor with an industry insider; Designer Seminar Series, offering inspiration in design-for-small-spaces, color and new kitchen design; Culinary Pavilion, to meet top chefs and sample their cuisine; Mark Levinson Mobile Showroom, a peek at the finest in residential electronics and home theatres; Moore & Giles Style Capsule, a step inside an Airstream Studio parked at the show that has been revamped in leather applications.
