New York, NY (July 9, 2009) � NYC & Company today kicked off NYC Restaurant Week Summer 2009 with the Coca-Cola� Great Tastes of Summer event at the Shops at Columbus Circle. The free event offered gourmet tastings from five of the City�s top NYC Restaurant Week restaurants � Tribeca Grill, Porter House New York, Spice Market, Bice Ristorante and DB Bistro Moderne. The event, hosted by Fresh 102.7�s radio deejay Danni and NYCTV�s Kelly Choi, featured complimentary products from The Coca-Cola Company, special appearances from celebrity chefs and musical performances by cast members from the Tony Award-winning Broadway production Hair.

Now in its 18th year, NYC Restaurant Week has grown to three weeks from two taking place from July 12�31, excluding Saturdays (restaurants have the option to offer the program on Sundays). Prices for the program will remain the same with $24.07 three-course prix-fixe lunches and $35 three-course prix-fixe dinners (excluding beverage, tax and gratuity). New Yorkers and visitors can take advantage of Restaurant Week at more than 250 of the City�s top restaurants. Returning favorites include Le Cirque, Mesa Grill, Nobu, Craftbar, Tribeca Grill, Primehouse New York and Blue Smoke.
