NYC & COMPANY PUBLISHES OFFICIAL VISITOR GUIDE FOR SPRING 2009



240-page publication provides indispensable official visitor information for tourists to navigate and experience the five boroughs



New York City (April 2, 2009)�NYC & Company, the official marketing, tourism and partnership organization for the City of New York, today announced the publication of its Spring 2009 NYC Official Visitor Guide. The 240-page publication provides all the essential information needed for a visit to New York City, including an up-to-date guide on where to stay and what to see and do all around the City�s five boroughs. The guide is available for free at any of the Official NYC Information Centers, or it can be ordered by calling 800-NYC-VISIT or visiting nycgo.com.

The new guides provide visitors with one handy and compact resource for the latest information on events, accommodations, sightseeing, arts and entertainment, museums and galleries, dining, nightlife, spas and salons and sports. It also has handy tips, must-see attractions, highlights of the five boroughs (the Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens and Staten Island), NYC essentials and a rundown on all of NYC & Company�s Official NYC Information Centers.
A welcome greeting from Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg highlights some of his suggested tips on what to see and do in the City this spring. The guide also features listings of NYC & Company�s 2,000 members, who hail from every segment of the City�s visitor industry, along with a handy pullout map of the City�s five boroughs that can be used to navigate the City.
�NYC & Company�s member businesses are highlighted in the spring 2009 guide, offering visitors comprehensive information on how to experience one of the world�s most dynamic cities,� said Kelly Ann Curtin, NYC & Company�s senior vice president of Membership and Convention Services.
The Official Visitor Guide is offered to consumers for free, though there is a modest fee for shipping and handling. The guide will also be distributed at welcome desks of conventions held in New York City and at several travel and meetings industry trade shows around the world. The guide is also available at all of NYC & Company�s Official NYC Information Centers throughout the City, free of charge.
