New York City (June 15, 2009)�NYC & Company, New York City�s marketing, tourism and partnership organization, made an important change this NYC Restaurant Week season by disclosing its extended dates to consumers via Twitter. In addition, NYC & Company will provide details about early booking exclusively to its growing number of Twitter followers, while utilizing the micro-blogging service to keep foodies informed about the most up-to-date NYC Restaurant Week news. As part of its promotions, NYC & Company plans to tweet unique dining offers, last-minute reservation openings, plans for surprise chef appearances and more.

Beginning this week and continuing through July, NYC & Company will utilize its Twitter profile, twitter.com/nycgo, to tweet out information on added restaurant deals and insider tips shared by participating NYC Restaurant Week businesses. NYC & Company will ultimately provide exclusive benefits and access to loyal Twitter followers, including information about early booking.

NYC Restaurant Week Summer 2009 will run for three weeks instead of two and take place from July 12�31, excluding Saturdays (restaurants have the option to offer the program on Sundays). Prices for the program will remain $24.07 for three-course prix-fixe lunches and $35 for three-course prix-fixe dinners (excluding beverage, tax and gratuity).
