NYC SUMMER RESTAURANT WEEK EXTENDED THROUGH LABOR DAY AT MORE THAN 130 RESTAURANTS
Continued Availability of Prix-Fixe Lunch and Dinner Menus Gives Diners Three More Weeks of Dining Deals at NYC’s Top Restaurants
New York City (July 31, 2008) NYC & Company, New York City’s official marketing, tourism, and partnership organization, today announced that over 130 of the more than 230 restaurants will extend their NYC Restaurant Week Summer 2008 menus weekdays through Labor Day, offering three-course prix-fixe lunches for $24.07 and dinners for $35.00 (excluding beverage, tax and gratuity). The record number of extensions comes in response to the success of the program’s original two-week run, during which restaurants experienced high volume and positive customer feedback.
“Restaurant Week has become one of the most highly-anticipated seasonal promotions that New York City has to offer, because it allows diners to experience world-renowned cuisine for an incredible value,” said NYC & Company CEO George Fertitta. “And with more than 130 restaurants extending menus through Labor Day, there is no easier or economical way to enjoy some of the best dining in New York City this summer.”

Now in its 17th year, NYC Restaurant Week Summer 2008 brings together many of New York City’s most sought-after restaurants. Restaurants participating in Labor Day extension include — Centro Vinoteca, Mai House, Artisanal, Le Cirque, City Hall, Fig & Olive, and Tribeca Grill, Town and Mia Dona.
