Signature Collection Announces Return of Third Night Promotion in New York City

SIGNATURE COLLECTION ANNOUNCES RETURN OF THIRD NIGHT PROMOTION IN NEW YORK CITY


City Businesses Prepare to Welcome Visitors and Couples with Special Offers and Promotions



New York, NY (January 7, 2008) The Signature Collection, which comprises 17 luxury hotels of New York City, today announced the return of the Third Night promotion for a selection of its hotels for Winter 2008. The program gives visitors a complimentary reservation for a third night at 10 participating hotels after paying the prevailing rate for the first two, from Jan. 11 to Feb. 29, 2008. The promotion was facilitated through NYC & Company, the City's marketing and tourism organization, which has worked closely with the hotels to encourage visitors to stay an extra night and experience all the city has to offer.


"The Signature Collection's Third Night promotion has yielded considerable success over the past several years, and we are delighted to bring the offer back again this winter," said David Taylor, chairman of the Signature Collection, and the director of sales and marketing for The St. Regis New York. �Consumers who appreciate a luxury hotel experience now can take advantage of this great offer and use the money they saved to experience more of what New York City has to offer.�


The hotels participating in the program this winter include the Hotel Plaza Ath�n�e; Jumeirah Essex House; Loews Regency Hotel; Mandarin Oriental, New York; The London NYC; The New York Palace Hotel; The Sherry-Netherland; The St. Regis Hotel, New York; The Waldorf Towers; and the Trump International Hotel and Towers.

NYC & Company worked with The Signature Collection to expand this year�s Third Night promotion to include a new partnership with luxury retailer Saks Fifth Avenue. Signature Collection Third Night guests will now receive a VIP package at Saks Fifth Avenue�s flagship store as an added benefit, which includes an exclusive personal shopping experience in the Fifh Avenue Club.
