NYC & Company continues to monitor the swine flu situation carefully. As of Tuesday afternoon, the outbreak is isolated to two schools in Queens. There are no travel restrictions to New York City, and, to echo Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg’s comments over the past few days: ‘New York City is open for business, and it is safe to travel here.’ We will continue to work closely with other New York City officials to assess the situation, but we encourage visitors to continue with their travel plans to the City as normal.
