NYC & Company’s Biannual Dining Promotion Encourages Foodies to Take Advantage of Three-Course Dining Deals at More than 300 of New York City’s Finest Restaurants—



New York City (July 9, 2014) — NYC & Company, New York City’s official marketing, tourism and partnership organization, today announced that reservations for NYC Restaurant Week Summer 2014 have opened. The event offers New Yorkers and visitors four weeks of dining deals at more than 300 top New York City restaurants from July 21 through August 15, Mondays through Fridays, with Saturdays excluded and Sundays optional. Diners can enjoy three-course prix-fixe lunches for $25 and three-course prix-fixe dinners for $38 (excluding beverages, gratuities and taxes). Restaurants featuring soul food and Australian cuisine are new this year and join more than 300 restaurants, a marked increase from past programs, for NYC Restaurant Week Summer 2014. New participants include Greenhouse Cafe in Bay Ridge, Minton’s in Harlem, Murray’s Cheese Bar in Greenwich Village, Socarrat Paella Bar in Nolita, and Tanoreen in Bay Ridge.



NYC Restaurant Week, the first and largest dining program of its kind, was created in 1992. Now in its 23rd year, the popular program supports the City’s thriving restaurant industry, which employs more than 200,000 people and grosses annual sales exceeding $12 billion.

NYC Restaurant Week Summer 2014 boasts a new advertising campaign that appeals to the foodies. In addition to profiling photos of the stellar cuisine from the City’s top restaurants, local chefs will appear in creative assets throughout the campaign. The new creative will be featured on all NYC Restaurant Week digital properties, on banners throughout the City, at bus shelters and videos on taxicab monitors.The creative assets can be downloaded from our media library, nycgo.com/pressphotos.NYC Restaurant Week Summer 2014 media also will be featured every five minutes on the Toshiba Vision screens in Times Square from July 21 through August 15.
